Code of Conduct
Bonfire is a community built on respect. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all Bonfire spaces, including our in-person meetups, online communities (Discord, social media), and any related events or gatherings. It applies to all participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers.
Our Values
Our events are open to anyone interested in game development. We strive to create an inviting, friendly, and respectful environment where professionals, students, and hobbyists can connect. We encourage participants to assume good intent, be patient with newcomers, and offer constructive feedback rather than criticism. We expect all participants to be professional, considerate, and respectful of fellow attendees' boundaries and perspectives.

Media Policy
We may take photos or recordings at our events for documentation and promotion. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using identifiable images. If you would prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform our staff at check-in or contact us in advance; we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. If you would like a specific photo removed from our platforms, contact us and we will review the request promptly.
Reporting & Support
If you experience or witness a breach of this code of conduct, please report it immediately. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality. You can reach our team by:
